One thing I like about this software is that it has a very straightforward interface, without any unnecessary adornments. A set of self-explicable buttons allow you to control the recording process. When capturing video from the screen, the tool does not interfere with the rest of the windows because it hides in the System Tray. Once you have finished, you can stop the recording directly from there or using a hotkey combination. Then, it is possible to save the footage in any of two popular formats, WMV and AVI. Moreover, you should not worry about excessive file sizes because the program can use video and audio compression codecs.
All in all, Webcam Screen Recorder is a lightweight and easy-to-use program that is appropriate for any kind of user. Unfortunately, it does not allow any kind of after-recording editing actions. I have to alert you that there are many products with the same purpose, and my advice is to try a few before making your choice.
